आपले डॉक्टर कि शी शिक्षण संपून डॉक्टर भारतात येतात, पण रुग्ण त्यानं आपलसे करून घेत नाही. डॉक्टर जोहन साठी थांबून राहतात. साध्य साध्य गोष्टी साठी त्यांना डॉक्टर जोहन लागतात पण एक बाई ला मात्र हात लाऊन देत नाहीत ह्याचे त्यांना सतत खेद वाटत राहतो. पण लवकरच त्यांना संधी मिळते. आणि मग डॉक्टरांची मजल एक छोटा दवाखाना काढण्या पर्यंत जाते. पूर्वी शुकशुकाट असणाऱ्या दवाखान्य मध्ये आता जागा अपुरी पडायला लागते.किती तरी वेळा डॉक्टर बैलगाडी मध्ये बसून आजू बाजूच्या गावात जाऊन रुग्ण न तपासात. अश्या वेळेल डॉक्टर झाडा खाली आपले दुकान पसरत आणि मग तपासात.रुग्ण च्या तऱ्ह हे वेगळ्या. अमेरीकेतले रोग इथे रुग्णअन होतीलच असे नाही बरे नारू, साप चावणे, नायटा, डोळे येणे असे अनेक प्रकार. पण डॉक्टर ते हि हसतमुख पाने करी. हळू हळू डॉक्टर एक छोटसे हॉस्पिटल बनवतात. ते हि अपुरे पडायला लागते. आणि डॉक्टर स्वप्ना बघतात कि आपले एक सुसुज्ज असे हॉस्प्पितल असेल. आधीच गरिबी त्यात दुष्काळ आणि डॉक्टर स्वप्ना बघत होत्या एक सुसज्ज असे हॉस्पिटल चे. त्यात निधी आला. मग अमेरिका ची वारी आली, ठीक ठिकाणी डॉक्टरांनी भाषण दिले. आणि थोडा थोडा निधी जमा केला. त्यात शर्त एकच डॉक्टरांनी आढी nursing स्क्कूल उग्धवे आणि किमान ३ मुलीना nurse
बनवावे तरच रोच्क्फेल्लेर आपली २० लाख डोल्लर ची देणगी मंजूर करेल. डॉक्टर गावोगाव जाऊन आपण नवीन नुर्सिंग स्क्कूल उग्धत अस्य्लाची माहिती देतात आणि ६७ मुली पैकी १८ मुलीना आपल्या विद्यालात सामील करतात. डॉक्टर त्यांना आपल्या पोटच्या पोरीच्न सारखे वाढवतात आणि त्यांना शिक्षणा बरोबर स्वचाता, काटे चमचे घुएन जेवणे इत्यादी गोष्टी शिकवतात. त्यापैकी ११ मुली परीक्षेला बसतात, परीक्षाला डॉक्टर स्वता मुलीना मद्रास ला घुएन येतात. निकाल लागे पर्यंत ओद्क्टरांचा जेव आपला वर खाली. पण डॉक्टरांनी मेहेनत रांग आणते आणि २ मुली बोर्ड मध्ये येतात आणि बाकी सगळ्या प्रथम वर्गात येतात. डॉक्टरांचे एक स्वप्ना पूर्ण होते.. आत्ता वेध हॉस्पिटलचे. परत परत तीच संकट देऊन डॉक्टरांनी एक जमीन खरेदी केली आणि एक छोटी इमारत उभी केली. आता डॉक्टर थकल्या होत्या सगळा कारभार आपल्या माणसांकडे सोपौन डॉक्टर आता अध्यन कार्याला लागल्या. आणि आपल्या स्वप्ना उराशी घुएन ह्या मातीत सामून गेल्या..

एक मोठा वेकएण्ड येतोय.. २८ फेब ते १ मार्च म्हणजे ३ दिवसनिचि सुट्टी. विचार चालू आहे भंडारदरा ला जायचा. मस्त गाडी घुएन जायची आणि मज्जा करायची. हल्लीहल्ली घरी बसायचा जाम कंटाळा यायला लागला आहे. पहिले शनिवार रविवार घरी बसून कध्याचे.. उगीच काही तरी काम काढून.. आगदी रविवार सुधा खाली उतरायची नाही .. पण पण हलू हलू वाटायला लागले की आपण एकटे पडायला लागले आहोत.. मग मात्रा दिसेल तिथे बाहेर जायची संधी शोधत बसते.. उगीच डिप्रेशन मध्ये जायला नको..काही कारण नसताना….

Right now i am sitting in Annual General Meeting for the company. This years first AGm where we have to present last years performance which sounds boring… i mean we follow ISo standards. Everything is documented. Weekly reperts,f ollowed by monthly reports are compulasary weekly plans are made and submitted and even target sheet is updated once a month.. what more do one expect in AGM. Seriously it feels like “Open House” for school where everyone knows how we have flared and still we are made to bring parents in school Here in my office its our CEO and chairman who are brought to school to see our performance.. Followed by nice sugary speech about company belong to everyone.. ……..blah blah……
What made me write this post was Mahendras post about what job has given him and a incident with a colleague who just completed five years with us. My gosh…next year it will be my turn.. i have almost completed 4 th year in this company and next is me.. completing 5 yrs in ONE company.. too long for gypsy like me.. to setlte in job… WHy i dont know.. looks like i have look back and see what i have learnt in this job…
When i first decided to switch job it was mainly becaus eof commuting problems and timings of R&D center. It was gruelling job and i had little time for myself. Hence i decided to switch the company but definetly not the work. However when i was being interviewwd for this company i foundthe work exciting besides the perks being offered and there was lot to learn from this field. So i took the plunge. Here i was posted in application dept where we have further sections. It companys headoffice in India and first office in India as well.
As such the work backround that i came in from was totally different in this company. Here my jobwas to devlop new applications for the increasing sales and genrating revenue which meant i had to deal with lots and lots of people around me.
The first thing that i learnt here “Silence in never Golden”. The more you talk the more people get attracted to and more you get to know the people and work they are doing. Previously i was a reserved kind off person and never made friends easily. I always had problems starting conversations and i would think my stupid curosity might offend someone. But now after four years i fel i can start aconversation and make good contacts in field which a re helpfull in long run.
The second thing which i learnt was no matter what the sales guys says you should always tell the client that it is impossible with this product. One such matter happened when we visited one of the leading national lab for molecualr sciences. I was totally new in job and was sent along with sales guy for giving application support. I throughly read the brochures and collected the background informationd required for his application. However once we metthis client the sales giy would let me speak for a minute and made me quiet with his blah blah.. after aw hile the dealw a sdone and client gave order for the instrument. Now i came into picture to start and demonstrate the actual work to himand complete to PQ and handover the instrument to him. Stuck the instrument wasnt designed for his requirements.The instrument wasnt designed for the protein synthesis and then identification it was designed only for the identification purpose. This instruement is still lying in lab and we have not received any payments for it. The sales guy who sold it has switched job and application team is banging head now.. NEVER TRUST The SALES GUY……
I always a inferiority complex with these Doctors.. maybe because of the degreethey hold or the charisma of that degree.. i dont know.. but i never had a drive to complete mine may be because of that.. Not all the Doc have the working knowledge that i have learnt int his field. But yes there are many other technically sound doctors who are wasting talent in India whom i have met…. and made good friends with.. thats one of the benefits of this field. you get to know lots of doctors, scientist etc from different walks of life.
Traveeling was another part of job here. I had never travelled alone in mylife. This job made me indepedent in my life. Things i learnt during my travelling experiences are the experiences for life. this made my pack my bags on my own.. with no help from my mom or hubby. Last moment packing and carrying all the stuff without missing things. Carrying your own bags, checking in, collecting the bags, booking the cabs, hotel checkins.. wow i can handle on my own. Even i learnt to find a cheapest hotel with all facilites during one of expedition. Even now my Hubby is impressed with this…………….

Being a long weekend.. (Worked on customer sites for Friday & hence considered as Holiday from office) Sunday we haeaded we headed to a waterpark. After much of planning and replannning and rescheduling we zeroed down Suraj Water Park Thane firstly becasue all of us are coming from different desitnation and secondly being its investing season its easy on pockets.
One of friend checked on website for booking, the site being extremly slow we could gather only information that park opened at 9.00. Much of hallabuh..we ended up at 8.15 in morning only to wake up the watchmana nd few dogs cosily sleeping. Later we found out that park opened at 10.00. With nowhere to go except the highway we made turns on Ghodbunder Road which was very empty being sunday morning and had cuppa of tapri chai.
At 10.00 sharp the park opened and we enetered into park. Shortly we changed and were amazed by the no of changing rooms available and the cleanliness. The no of lockers are more and can accomdate no of people. On entry we are welcomed by acrylic cave.

Secondly the Har Har Ganga waterfall welcomes us which is almost 70 ft waterfall cascading from the head of Lord Shiva. This waterfall has entered into Limca Books of Record-2004 as the signboard says!!!. The water is freezing cold and the moment you are out of it you start shivering..
The Slides are awesome. Out of which he most dangerous one is 90 ft slides which is body slide where person comes down with a bang straight down with angel of 90 degrees must try atleast once…

The next slide with 70 ft bang and closed enclosure are also worth. With my favorite being closed tube typeslide where its dark inside and feels like you are falling into abyss. Time to recharge the emotions.
The long slide and tube type slide are also worth.. and one can go on and on.. only thing the slide last for few seconds but you have carry the mat orthe tube up to 3 levels climbing which is pain……

Another much exciing slide is Dil ki dhadkan.. which is one of exahilarting slide but starts only after 2.00. The no of tubes are less and one has to wait for turns to come. One of the amazing slide and must slide atleast thrice..

Lunch one has to buy at Suraj Waterpark..the options are plenty but taste wise its not upto mark… but still once you enjoy so much in water one tends to become hungry as bull………
After lunch it was a easy session where we just lazed around the more lazy river and drifted by.. with tbe floats..

Then came the wave pool which sadly starts after 2 hrs and last only for 10-15 mins.I wonder why… !!!!

After lots of water polo and dip in wave pool we needed to warm up and getting in to water we had few rashes hence weturned to Lock Museum which has also featued in discovery ( one of the security guy told us he sweared by that Well i remember some time back it featured on Marathi channel a few yeards ago.. though i dont remember the program)…

This one was amazing.. though the key was prsent in drawer and we tried opening it few times we couldnt open it.. thief should be strictly smart for opening this….

These ones where amazing too….. and worth watch with each locks history carefully kept alongside the lock..

Guess what I found a ditto lock which i had with me.. guess it said its from the Peshwa regime and designed for jewellery boxes. Phew i brought it all the way from Nepal during one of visits….

Thake hare .. bachhe left park at 6.15pm with refreshing tea again at Tapri wala… only to get into traffic and turmoil of everyday life…

Since morning I am bot tensed. Reason behind being this my mobile phone is not working. Its brand new mobile purchased only 4 months ago. The mobile is nothaing any physical damage butthe card is getting blocked from Vodaphone due to no IMEI registration no.
I purchased a brand new I phone of China Make 4 months ago. The reason behin d this i wanted something flashy in my hands i was bored of N72 phone which was too sturdy. No matter how many time sit fell fom my hand, got hanged, with the memory card changed and multi virus attacks the damn phone was still working. I was totally obsessed with N72 once upon a time but things become outgrown after few years and N72 is one of them.. I used this phone for almost 5 years was quiet contenet but at the same time bored withits looks, functioning and style statement.. it had become a common masses phone… Hence i decided on zeroing a i phone or blackberry……………
Again after a secret survey i found out that Blackberrry ( That time it was storm) was the latest mobile and had a style stattment to carry it. My elder brother had one and i literally begged him to let me use it for one day….. Look wise Backberry storm is good( Though all blackberry look same to me these days) and my godness. i found it tough to operate. I cldnt type a single sms in a day and had fiddle a lot with the key pad…. ( What is use of blackberry when u cant type!!!!!)
Well then came the iphone series woth lots and lotsof different features available with crack codes for almost 3 months iw a strying to zero in a right mobile for me… and in haste i chose a chinese iphone at muc much cheaper rate ( rs 6000 only) with all the features of i iphone + 4 GB membory and box full of accsories free.
For past 4 months i am using the mobile. It is working very good, can operate all the features carries a IMEI no and has excellent looks that mmake head turn….. BUt now in vain… I received a sms from Vodaphone, IMEI no of china mobile is not valid and hence the network in blocked………………………
what next to do either go and register the IMEI no somewhere near kurla and use it or help govt of India with its IMEI no and tracking facility………. is a big question….!!!!!!

सध्या मी मराठी फॉंट डाउनलोड केला आहे. शिवाजी नावाचा. आमच्या इट ववळ्या कडून चालू तर करून घेतले आहे पण वापरता येत नाही. एक शब्द लिहायला खूप वेळ अगतो. खरे तर आपली मातृभाषा. जाससे बोलतो तसे इंग्लीश मध्ये लिहायला गेले की दुसरेच काही तरी टाइप होते.. आणि मग पहिले मज्जा येते आणि नंतर राग येतो आरे आपल्याला साधे मराठी टाइप करता येत नाही म्हणून….. आत्ता बोला ह्यावर काही उपाय आहे का..?
