HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!

Shopping for valentine day is a big task by itself. Imagine the amount of efforts and creativity is spent for the loved one. But the effort is a worth when you see the twinkle in eye of your loved one. For days people start saving money to buy gifts for their love. The great bargains are seen as soon as the February steps in to the calendar. Market pops with heart shaped balloons and valentine gifts replace the usual shelf.
Suddenly red becomes the hottest color of the season. The malls get dressed up and decked in red where SALE is written on red t-shirts. Malls run a special valentine offers offering special discounts for couple. Even the healthcare department is not behind. They offer discounts on various spa treatments.
Even I wasn’t left behind the valentine day shopping. Though this year I was celebrating my first ever valentine day with my fiancée it ought to be special. I visited numerous websites searching for special gifts for a special person in my life. Though most of the websites offered same gifts at different give away prices but that were too common. Gifts ranged from a shaving kit to flowers to t-shirts, sun glasses, perfumes, holiday packages for the couple etc etc none of which was appealing neither worth.
Next I started checking magazines and tips offered for celebrating valentine day. Nothing much creative except the scented candles and the aroma candles and make your own gifts packs that are available in the market. Nothing appealing though except the make your gift kits. Now search for make your gift begin. None of the outlets offered served the purpose. The outlets listed in the magazine didn’t come handy either the outlets were out of stock or simply didn’t have the idea I was asking for. Leaving me perplexed as 5 th of February has passed by I decided to confront my friends. Many of friends gave simple ideas of gifting a watch, flowers and perfumes. Much after thoughts and second thoughts nothing much happened the only thing happened was time flew by and I had northing much in my hand.
Finally it was pre Valentine day I was stuck in office. I decided to go by the flow and buy customary gifts available in the market. Leaving the office much after late sitting I boarded the train to thane. I searched for the valentine card in 2-3 shops nothing interesting, I left I searched for the Archie’s and hall mark gallery available in Thane. I circled around thane in search of these two shops and finally found one private gallery which looked pretty good. As soon as I opened the door of the shop sweet perfume and cool breeze greeted me shop like god but it was overcrowded I least expected the crowd at that moment of life. I thought people are more organized than I but no I had lots of company. I kept on browsing for the cards for my fiancée. Finally I short listed few of them ( cant be more professional than that u know).Much baffled I kept on browsing those cards until I finally made up my min d to choose one card. When I looked into my watch it was 8.30 pm Oh my god I was browsing cards fo than 1 and half hour can you imagine… Next some gift, hhmm what do I buy some candles may be.. no no no he wont be able to carry it back by train. Some perfume, oh he already bought one last week. T’s nope I don’t know his exact size and favorite colors. HHHmm a soft toy may be . but what I choose whale , the lad who was shopping on right side nodded his head and winked, may be a wrong idea to gift a whale on valentine day.. eerr why not wouldn’t it say my love for you is like whale in sea.. what a stupid idea..\
Finding nothing interesting I decided to go to mulund in mall. Finally much of running after train and rickshaws I reached mulund at 8.45pm, not much time left for the shops to close . I could hear the clock tickle loudly in my ears and after awhile I could I see myself sitting on stairs crying as I could not buy anything for my beloved. I rushed to the hyper city only to find a small teddy carrying a mystic smile and a heart shaped bunny saying I love you. Finding this finally cute I bought it.Suddenly I remembered I have to buy a soft toy CD pack which he liked very much. I decide dto rush int o the shop and found it closing. One sweet word please let me in the shop. And it tiook less than a minute for me to choose my gift. I brought a yellow colored sunflower CD pack.Shopping done. I glanced at my watcjh ok 10.00 pm good another 15 mins and I have to choose some good gift wrapping otherwise it wouldn’t look good. It took me 20 mins to shop for a nice cute little paper bag in red. When I was paying for it I saw a small soft toy hanging near the wall. It was made up of patch was supposed t hanged on the glass and made of ribbons. Will look good in his car. I decided to buy it…
So finally at 10.30 pm I reached home. Had my dinner and packed my little gifts. Right at 12.00 clock I smsed him a happy valentine day and I slid into a deep slumber only to see his sms happy V-day in morning.
Morning we had taken leave off and we decided to watch a movie go out for lunch. He brought me a big bouquet of flowers and not roses and hugged me. Then we went to have lunch. In the afternoon we saw the movie “The Holiday”at the metro adlabs in marine lines. During the evening we decided to stroll at the queen’s necklace. Sitting by the bayside and watching the vast ocean is the most romantic thing one can everdo.. Suddenly I realized after all love is not being materialist it is a feeling which one shares. Even though I had gifted him small things it wouldn’t matter to him as much I love him and he loves me. It is the feeling and not things that matter in love. Valentine day is not gifting things and cards. It’s the feeling for th person with whom you are going to share your life with, it’s the way how you support during good and bad things, make him laugh even hes upset and making things work when they utterly seem impossible. And that’s the biggest lesson I learnt on valentine day.

Mad ADs फेब्रुवारी 12, 2007

Have you seen advertisements on TV? Ha! What a stupid question you may ask me.. But seriously have you seen the ads lately.. I know they break he link up when the mystery is about unveil, or just pop up when something sizzling is going to happen on screen, or just when Tendulkar hits a big Six and break pops leaving us unspecified whether he’s out or he has hit a six…
But these days there ad running on TV which I like the most. It’s about the Holland, a short commercial for Holland. God has created a special country called Holland. I think it’s a heaven on paradise. Have you the tulips in ad.. My god they are amazing. In this ad people are seen visiting the tulip gardens of Holland. And everywhere the tulips have blossomed right from the hottest red tulip on earth to finest blue tulip. Do you remember the song from Silsilay where Big B is romancing with Rekha in Tulip garden in Holland…Much of browsing the internet I found some amazing information for the tulip season that it last only for 3 months and crores of people visit Holland specially for the tulip.. Do you remember our beauty queen has Aishwarya Rai has also given the 10 th tulip name in Holland…
After seeing this ad I wish I was in Holland especially to see and feel the tulip. As it is considered a very rare flower in India..
One more ad that catches eye is when a school going kid wears his drummer father’s cap and poses himself in the mirror. On seeing this father immediately removes the cap and throws and instead gives books in hand on the kid. The child sits for stud till midnight while the father serves him a hot cup of tea to keep him going through the studies after few years the son becomes a officer and comes back to meet his father his father proudly wears his drummer uniform and cap and beats the drums as he is very happy with his sons achievement. I think its ads for a tea which keep you awake through to achieve your goals in life. The most important is the picturization of the ad which touches your heart.
One more ad that catches the attention is for moods condoms, though ads are made strategically these days, this one is quiet different. This ad shows the couple riding on bike. And the song “ yeh kya hua ….kaise hua “ plays in the background. The couple rides along having their own bit of fun.. The maid comes to clean up the bed and finds a packet of condoms on the bed. She shy’s and smiles while the song with soft melodies plays by. The message is passed out more correctly and still there no vulgarity in the ad. The couple who feature in the ad is just like a normal working couple and behave sin the way that they are totally in love and yet the message is given in more dramatic and beautiful way…

The beautifully ornameted fountain stands still in the heart of the mumbai. The fountain was built in stone and every year its painted in white oil paint. Build in 1864 it represtes Roman Goddess Flora, the Goddess of Abundance. It was made at huge price of rs.47,000 duringthe pre independence period. The four lanes that cross the flora fountain are called the hutatma chowk or the The martyrs crossroads. The residents prefer to call it fountain rather than hutatma chowk. Large number of offices and bnks are situated in and around the fountain. It the main hub for bussiness in mumbai.
Largely no visit of mumbai can be complete with out a visit to flora fountain.

Very few people claim to be the Shakespeare in the literature. Not all can become Shakespeare. Though in hearts of zillions of people around the world Sidney Sheldon did. I have never read many of his books but recently I was gifted rage of angels by Sidney Sheldon and I got hooked to this writer. For nights I have read his book like a madman until I finished the book. From then there is no turning back I am searching every nook and corner of the book stores for titles by Sidney Sheldon. The plots and ravage of each character in his novel is unique in its own way. The other book which I have read n no of time sis the other side of midnight. This book was an instant hit and soon became a best seller as rated by New York Times. Born in Chicago to a German father and a Russian mother, Sidney first sold his poem to a local magazine for 10$.During depression hit America; he worked several odd jobs and joined university to complete his graduation in drama. In 1937 he left for Hollywood, every writers dream…After serving for World War II and naval corps, Sidney retired to civil life. His wrote screen play for several broadways and B rated films. What brought him recognition was “The bachelor and Bobby Soxer” which gave him the academy award for best original screenplay. Not only was he is famous novelist, but also a successful story writer for “I dream of Jeannie “show and also wrote long run episodes for “the patty duke show”. I think he wrote episodes for patty duke show for 7 long years. But the fact is America did not love Sidney Sheldon as much as we did. He was more popular among women readers than other counterparts. When he was asked the reason for this he replied the women he portrays the character in his novel are strong, genuine and ready to take up the world and are women of substance yet there are feminine qualities.

When a Lizard can Y cant V ?????? फेब्रुवारी 1, 2007

This is a true story that happened in Japan.

In order to renovate the house, someone in Japan breaks open the wall.
Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the wooden walls. When tearing down the walls, he found that there was a lizard stuck there because a nail from outside hammered into one of its feet.
He sees this, feels pity, and at the same time curious, as when he checked the nail, it was nailed 5 years ago when the house was! First built.
What happened? The lizard has survived in such position for 5 years! In a dark wall partition for 5 years without moving, it is impossible and mindboggling. Then he wondered how this lizard survived for 5 years!Without moving a single step–since its foot was nailed! So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what it has been doing, and what and how it has been eating. Later, not knowing from where it came appears another lizard, with food in its mouth.
Ah! He was stunned and touched deeply. For the lizard that was stuck by nail, another lizard has been feeding it for the past 5 years…Imagine? It has been doing that untiringly for 5 long years, without giving up hope on its partner.Think, will you do that to your partner? Think, will you do that to your Mom, who, brought you after a big struggle of nine long months? Or at least to your Dad, Friends, Co-workers, brothers and Sisters? Imagine what a small creature can do that a creature blessed with a brilliant mind can’t. As information and communication technology advances, our access to information becomes faster and faster. But the distance between human beings ???????????What about that??????????????
Please never abandon your loved ones.
This was mail forwarded by a Stranger. When i saw a mail of his name in my mail box thought of replying him in horny words who he is and y is he sending me mails continuously?
But when i read this one i couldnt do so. Just felt like posting it on this blog so that everybody can read .

So think again Y Cant V?????????????????
