In India, marriage are considered to be made in heaven. Since ages unknown people go in for arrange marriage. Arrange marriagemeans the grooms and brides family register their names in marriage beaures and give in their details and their expectation.Once a suitablecandiadate is found they meet and decide to get married or not these are called as arrange marriage where everything is arranged for you. Other wise people opt for love marriages. Wherein you fall in love with a person and then get married. Both types of marriages are having hteir own pros and cons….

In a typical hollywood film always happy endings are shown. The hero meetsa herione falls in love they sing and dance around the trees, finally the villan arrives or some melodrama takes place followed by some dishum dishum and then hero and herione gets happily married. However yanda kartavya ahe starts from where normal bollywood films ends. and that is the niche of the film.

The film deals with a story of rahul desai who is working in a corporate bank and his newly wedded wife swati and their process of discovering each other. The story is covered in just 4 days which is the honeymoon period for both of them. Its just a two line story and does not have any huge twist turns, sobs nor villans. Its plain realsitic movie.

YKA shows how two unknown people are thrown in to matrimony becoz of rahuls grandmothers illness who wants to see her only grandchild married before she dies and their process of getting adjusted to each other. Both are shy kind of person who do not talk intemately with oppsite sex. YKA is the movie of people who are into matrimoy without knowing each other well and still in love. It deals with both rahul and swati getting adjusted to each other personality. They are shown way different from each other. She gets up early in morning haves bath have some pooja done and then eats her breakfast whil ehe loves to be in bed and haves breakfast whenevr he feels hungry. She likes to be clicked while he runs away from camera. He loves the rain while she dreads it. For her, her dad is her saviour her ideal while he thinks shes childish.

YKA deals with the newly married couples fights, their tender and sweet moments, their knowing and unknowing glances and their memories. Even swatis, ways to avoid rahul trying to intimate with her are shown very beautifully. Rahuls attempt to show off in front of his newly wedded wife are shown like a typical husband in which is fails miserably.

Mohan Joshi plays a role of hotel manager which is quite ok in the film.Other marathi characters are also shown in the film which play quiet small roles yet neccasary for the film. The film has some good songs suchas aabhas haa and we are honeymooners.

In all YKA is all about the story of newly married couple which deals with its fear, emotions,laughter their futile attempts to impress each other , their love….a must watch for al those couples who had a love marriage…….

And for those who had arrange marriage… welll it will relive your memories in the past…..
