Some passport are born lucky.. i reallly mean this.. I mean just give it after thought was it common to have a passport nearly 25 years ago. I think it was a privilige to have one. One was considered as a high class citzen who has educational or financial background to travel abroad. For most of the people, going abroad meant lots of money and stability with emicalble living conditions as bonus.
Mine was damn lucky. I got my passport at the age of 16 years. The passport was lieing in my cupboard for almost 8 years. Then suddenly i got a chance to have a tour of all the gulf countries. And lo!!!! suddenly it was full of visas and immigration stamp. Then again it was lying for a 2-3 years safely locked in a locker. Everytime i opened the locker, i could see my passport lying in the envlope and i would open the envolope to remind me of the good times that i spent abroad. It brought back memories of beautiful Dubai airport and a several other airports that i visited. It brought back memory of beautiful war country lebanon which i liked the most….

After 3-4 years, when i started working for a mnc , i got a first chance to visit singpore. the rest of the staff was busy organizing for their passports, i was the proud owner of one with sevral immigration stamps on it. I was flying high that time. There was a round of FAQs almost everyday regarding the issusing of passports. Finally the Shinigan visa came in… another page filled in… One more country added to my bounty..
Then came the frequent trips to Singapore. Then the exotic honeymooon to Singpore thailand and Malaysia.. followed again my a official trip.
After that was Nepal, which i visted for bussiness purpose. Finally after a decade was over and my beloved passport expired 2 months ago. I had a tough time gettigna nnew one.. But the new one is as lucky as the first.. as it has a 2 immigration stamp from trhe day i recd it……
I am sure it has a long way to go.. what say…
