Bhoothnath is a story of a ghost residing in a neglected unhabitated house in Goa. The ghost is of Mr. Nath who is palyed by none other than Mr. Amitabh Bacchan is very fond of the house and does not let anyone stay in the house. The property is well guarded by the ghost itself and drives people away who try to inhibit the housse. But then comes the family of Banku a naughty boy played by Aman Siddique along with his mom Juhi Chawla and father SRK.
The ghost tries to drive these people away from the house as well. But Banku is more notorious than the gost himself.Banku mistakes ghost as his guardian angel and befreind shim. Half of the movie thereby picturises the pranks played by Banku and his angel.Banku is amzed by the magic that Bhoothnath plays. His tricks are all at the fingertips and at Bankus command.
Its worth watching how Banku fools Bhoothnath and makes him arrange all the furniture in the house which is lying unpacked with help of magic. Only after the owrk is complete, Bhoothnath realises he is made a fool by a prankster.
The story goes to be in circle till interval until the Bhoothnaths son come in to picture. After that it becomes a melodrama and Banku has little to do in the film. The film becomes yet another part of Baghpan. Priyan shu chatterjee plays a good role of Bhoothnaths son for the some time. But the film fails to make it presence felt.
Juhi Chawla is again a smiley lovy-dowy mother while SRK appears as a guest artist with very less to do and child artist Aman who is chubby manages to carry some part of the show for a awhile. Priyanshu Chatterjee is ok.
